Adam Avil ,founded Rock Band GREEK in the early 90’s along with his brother Eddie Avil and Luke Kenny, which was later named ‘Pralay’. Key past members of the band are Joy Dutta, Victor D’souza, Brian Soans & Ulysses Veyra. Adam Avil started playing lead guitars, composing ad writing along with Eddie Avil, after years of struggle to break into the International music scene. Their debut album “Urban Reality” was shortlisted for the Grammys 2003 in the World Music Category.
The Album was released in India by Anurag Kashyap. It was claimed that Anurag Kashyap Film “Paanch” loosely inspired from the band’s struggle, the movie is currently banned. They have extensively toured over the years all over India including a 6 months tour In Russia and performed on Russian channel
TAN Television.
